The APG is a not-for-profit organisation run for and by its membership.
- We provide class leading training to foster excellent strategic thinking across our industry.
- We have created the world’s most comprehensive collection of groundbreaking strategic case studies, through the biennial APG Creative Planning Awards.
- We provide a portal to access the many articles, blogs and books written on strategy.
- We champion new thinking by enabling new publications on the subject of planning, contributing to other publications, and organising various events and debates.
- We represent the interests of our members by seeking to influence agency heads and clients, promoting the role of excellent strategic thinking and planning in generating profit.
- We aim to further improve the quality of talent attracted to the planning discipline.

New Block Membership scheme compared with Single Membership:
- Five named individual members at one agency can take Block Membership which costs £250+vat
- For each block of five memberships you receive:
(a) one free copy of the APG Gold Standard book
(b) one free copy of the 2007 APG Awards book
- Each named member in the block will enjoy the same membership benefits as listed above for single members i.e. APG training courses, free entry to Evening Meetings etc
- As for Single Membership, Block Membership is for named individuals and is not transferrable
