APG Creative Strategy Awards 2027
See below for a list of frequently asked questions about the APG Creative Strategy Awards.

Entrants must be members of the APG. If there is more than one primary author at least one must be an APG member. (For authors outside the UK, this rule does not apply)

The final deadline for the 2027 APG Awards will be announced in the Autumn of 2026.
No. The application platform will close at the time of the deadline.
Papers are submitted through our online application form. Applications open in February 2027.
It shouldn't take more than 5 minutes to submit each paper, as long as you have all the information you need ahead of time. Please be sure to read the 'How To Enter'(https://www.apg.org.uk/awards-2025-how-to-enter) guide found on our website.

Your paper will need to be uploaded as a PDF (max file size 15mb). Please note, if you are shortlisted, you will need to send us your paper in a word document directly following the shortlist announcement in June 2027 in order to be published in the book.
• I confirm that my APG Creative Strategy Awards paper is no more than 10 pages and 2,000 words
• I confirm that my APG Long Term Thinking Awards paper is no more than 12 pages and 3,000 words
• I confirm that I have uploaded my paper as a PDF (max file size: 15mb)
• I have included a Summary page (250 word summary and 1 picture) at the beginning of the paper
• I have double checked the word count and it is stated at the end of my paper
• If shortlisted, I will supply a Word document of my paper to be included in the APG Awards book directly after the shortlist is announced in order to be published in the book.
• I have noted the following statement: Worldwide copyright and right to publish in digital and printed forms of each entry will pass to the APG and it is the responsibility of the author(s) to ensure that the approvals supplied are adequate for this purpose and that all data, images and information included in the paper will be published.

Title Page:

APG Creative Strategy Awards Papers - The word limit is 2,000 words max. You will also need to provide a 250 word summary but this is not included in your total word count.
APG Long Term Thinking Award - The word limit is 3,000 words max. You will also need to provide a 250 word summary but this is not included in your total word count.
Creative Strategy Awards = 10 pages (not including the title page and final page)
Long Term Thinking Awards = 12 pages (not including the title page and final page)

The entry fee will be annoucned in the Autumn of 2026.
Fees must be paid in GBP using the online payment system provided with the submission form.
You must be an APG Member to submit a paper in the UK. If you do not have a membership, the cost for one membership will be added to your submission (240+vat).
If you are submitting a paper from outside the UK, APG Membership is not required.
Payment is taken through our online portal. This takes most major credit cards.

*Please note: Payment needs to be made before the first shortlist judging round.
No, submissions are non-refundable. Please be sure you have all the correct approvals before submitting your paper.

Your entry must be approved by the senior management of all the companies involved in the submission and by your senior client who has approved the entire contents of your paper for publication. You must submit the full names of the approvals with your entry, using the entry form.

Yes. If you submit five papers at the same time, you receive the fifth submission free.
The creative work must have appeared in the market between 31st March 2025 and 30th March 2027.
Yes, an agency may enter jointly with another agency and such collaboration is welcomed.

Yes, we accept and encourage submissions from all over the world.
All papers must be written in English and suitable translations of the work must be provided to allow English-speakers to judge the entry.
Yes. If you would like to add a video to the paper, please be sure you include a link or hyperlink to the video you would like to include.
Please note: If your paper is shortlisted and published in the book, the link will not be included
