The truth about winning an APG
Monday 16th November | 5pm-6pm GMT | Online
In this session, we delve into the truth behind two very different flavours of strategy from last year’s APG Grand Prix Winning papers: Mayor of London ‘Maaate’ by Natalie Chester and Muller Rice Rice Baby by Matt Hayes.
This year’s chair of short listers, Matt Waksman will open with some home truths about how to win an APG, the truth of what goes down in the judging room and why the truth matters more than anywhere else when it comes to The APG, whatever the flavour.
Then two of last year’s Grand Prix winners, Natalie Chester and Matt Hayes, will open up about the strategic truths they grappled with, how they approached writing with honesty, how their papers shaped their view on planning and their perspective on what was a universal truth amongst the spectrum of flavours of last year’s award winning papers.
This online session will let you look under the bonnet of what the judges will be looking for and help to get you thinking about the fundamental truths of what might be your Grand Prix in 2027.
