Upcoming
MPG Noisy Thinking: Nobody ever got promoted for a brave media plan
7th October 2026 | 6pm-8pm BST | Live at Channel 4, London

We’re coming together for the second MPG Noisy Thinking and tackling this provocative and highly current issue, live.

The safe plan gets signed off in twenty minutes. The brave one gets three rounds of questions, creates a delegation of challenging stakeholders and foxes the benchmark database. We tell planners to be bold and then get them to operate inside a system – of guarantees, of industry norms, of post-campaign analyses that punish variance more than they reward upside – that quietly makes personal boldness a risk.

What would have to change for courage to be truly career-enhancing?

We’re bringing together some stellar industry speakers who all have skin in the game and are up for the fight.

Come along and hear them debate, fabulously MC’d by Lucy Verby. Have your say, have a drink, and help shape the agenda for us all.
